My client is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing candidate to undertake the role of a Reception Manager in a hotel. You will have many responsibilities such as ensuring that guests have an exceptional welcome and experience on every stay and feel as comfortable as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all hotel departments
  • Acting as the first point of call, dealing with any queries or complaints from guests efficiently
  • Providing and encouraging your team to develop to their full potential
  • Maintaining accounting aspects (banking, third party payment, sales ledgers and guest bills)
  • Being proactive with recruiting, training and developing all team members
  • Designing and reviewing Rota’s to guarantee that a 5* service is delivered to every guest

Requirements

  • Must have excellent organisational skills
  • Able to motivate, inspire and support your team
  • Clear and confident communicator and listener
  • Have exceptional guest service skills
  • Previous experience working in a similar style property as a Reception Manager
  • Able to operate Property Management Systems such as Fidelio/Opera/Protel/Guestline
