My client is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager who has worked within the Tourism/ Hospitality sector in this capacity.

You will play a key part in increasing the organisations presence, both internationally and locally which in turn will increase revenue across all services and facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and delivering a clear marketing and sales strategy identifying areas for growth and achieving targets in place
  • Working with events and other departments to gain knowledge and build excellent working relationships with managers to ensure smooth delivery of strategy and sales
  • Identifying new business opportunities including networking, B2B opportunities and other avenues
  • Carrying our competitor analysis and ensuring the organisation is at the top of their game
  • Understanding revenue streams in depth and meeting and exceeding targets set in line with budgets and financials
  • Working with all departments to train and motivate staff to ensure all following company guidelines in terms of development and sales , upselling and promotions to increase revenue
  • Working with senior management to consistently improve customer satisfaction and achieving excellent reviews and feedback.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in similar role
  • Confident building excellent working relationships with management and colleagues, external businesses and suppliers
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing platforms and channels including social media, digital , contact and email marketing
  • Able to create and implement sales strategies with success
  • Able to motivate and mentor staff to reach their full potential
  • Excellent communication skills, able to enthuse and inspire
  • A positive can do attitude.
