Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Finance & Administration Manager to join their award winning team, within the travel and tourism sector.

You will be responsible for all the administrative tasks on site and that they are processed in a timely manner, to include payroll, health and safety documentation as well as training records and other financial procedures that are required., Due to this being a national company, support is given from head office in terms of protocols and policies already in place.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing the administration function for the site
  • Managing the payroll requirements for seasonal staff
  • The upkeep of the training records for all team members
  • Following all legalisation in place including Data Protection and GDPR.
  • Ensuring all owners have valid insurance and all electrical and gas tests are in date, in not rectifying these matters
  • Working with other departments to co-ordinate seasonal recruitment, including placing adverts, applications management and assisting with recruitment events
  • Reconciling key financial systems and overseeing purchase ledger function
  • All general administrative tasks in line with company procedures, with the support of an administrative assistant.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative / finance experience within a supervisory / managerial capacity
  • Confident and converse in financial tasks such as purchase ledger, credit control and payroll
  • Solid IT skills including Excel and Sage would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work within a team environment but also on own initiative
  • Due to the sector, there would be weekend work on a rota basis in the peak season.
  • Able to provide exceptional levels of customer service to all
