Job description

Our client, local authority is looking to recruit Customer Service Administrators, based in their Tiverton Offices. Initially this role is until end of June 2022 but may well be extended and/or lead to permanent work.


- Weekly pay

- Holiday pay on top

- £10.44ph , based on 37 hour week

- Friendly team environment

- On site parking

- Training and support to succeed in role

- Maybe chance after training to work from home, but would need to be relocate local enough for training / initial work etc.


  • Answering calls and dealing with enquiries, issues and questions
  • All associated paperwork and admin tasks
  • Customer service tasks, resolving complaints and problems as and when arise
  • Proactively commitment to provide excellent levels of customer engagement and satisfaction
  • Delivering fast, high quality customer service
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve customer service and respond to customer request.


  • Previous administration experience where you have been first point of call for customer queries and used to dealing with multiple tasks at any one time
  • Exceptional customer service skills, able to communicate with people from all backgrounds and also various levels of seniority
  • Well organised, methodical and able to manage own workload , in line with set deadlines
  • Problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good understanding of the public sector / council environment would be advantageous
  • Good all-round computer / IT skills
