Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Finance & Administration Assistant to join their company, within the travel and tourism sector.

You will be providing admin and accounts support to the department in line with all company guidelines. You will be working in a small admin team carrying out all the tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the busy site so the ability to work on own initiative is paramount.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing all invoices and credits into the in-house accounting system
  • Resolving all payment and accounts queries
  • Assisting with the management of owner accounts
  • Working with the team to ensure the health and safety documentation to include training and audits and associated docs are in date.
  • Assisting with the seasonal recruitment for the site including advertising and management of applications
  • All other administrative tasks associated with the role, including filing, updating records and being first point of call for queries and requests.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative and finance experience
  • Previous experience within a credit control / payroll or purchase ledger environment
  • Solid IT skills including Excel and Sage would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work within a team environment but also on own initiative
  • Due to the sector, there would be weekend work on a rota basis in the peak season
  • Able to provide exceptional levels of customer service to all
