My client is looking for a highly motivated Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN number to join their team at a care home, with both Day and Night shifts available.

You will play a key role in the home, providing convalescence, respite and palliative care to elderly people to the highest quality at all times.The aim is to help each resident live a longer, healthier and happier life.


Salary of £18ph-19 per hour depending on experience.

Duties will include:

  • Taking responsibility for the well-being of all residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met – including personal care/hygiene, assisting with meals, providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities
  • Leading, motivating and mentoring your team and delivering clinical guidance and training
  • Carry out detailed assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans
  • Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to standards, policies and legislation
  • Generally promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by providing the very best standards of care.

  • Will possess a demonstrable passion for caring for the elderly and infirm
  • Have a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team
  • Ability to delegate effectively
  • Able to promote excellent customer relationships
  • A willingness to coach, guide and support your team – provide formal and informal programmes of teaching
  • A genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct
  • A respectful, courteous and compassionate nature
