Full Time Contract

Our client is looking to recruit an experience Registered Home Manager (RM) to join their public sector organisation, initially on a six month basis.  Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be supporting the service that ensures the effective delivery of care and support which improves outcomes for adults in Cornwall.

Package:

  • Weekly pay
  • Up to £28 per hour depending on experience / £52k per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering leadership and management / overseeing the running of the home to ensure all services are of benefit to service users and responsive to changing needs
  • Following Care Standards Act to ensure the home is compliant but in line with company guidelines and legislation including Safeguarding
  • HR duties to include performance reviews and disciplinary matters, recruitment and training
  • Leading and motivating staff to ensure levels of care, practice and performance are at the levels requires
  • Liaising with internal and external professional effectively as well as service users and families

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within management within Dementia / Elderly care
  • Min Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
  • Thorough understanding of Care Standards Act
  • Able to demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
  • A team player at heart but able to led effectively and fairly
