We are looking for candidates to join a team of caring and compassionate live-in carers.

Opportunities are available immediately to work in care packages including dementia, mental health and complex care. You will be working in a choice of locations for a CQC regulated company with over 20 years of experience in the highest quality home care.

The right candidates are required to attend our client’s specialist in-house training course in Hampshire on one of the following dates:

  • 1st to 5th February 2021
  • 18th to 22nd February 2021

Please be advised that this training is compulsory before any work can be assigned.

Free accommodation is provided during the training period.

Duties

  • Offer a regular and reliable helping hand throughout the day
  • Personal hygiene assistance including bathing/showering/toilet
  • Help with going to bed at night and getting up in the morning
  • Preparing meals and drinks
  • Tidying up, vacuuming, washing up, changing beds, doing laundry and general housekeeping
  • Being a friend by chatting, watching tv and helping them continue to do all the things they love and lead the life they wish

What we are looking for:

  • You will have a minimum of 1 year's live-in care/healthcare experience.
  • Experience in care of family members and other roles in community, residential, elderly and learning disability care will also be considered.
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Driving licence and own vehicle preferred
  • Willing to undergo DBS check
  • Able to attend compulsory training in Hampshire at one of the dates specified
  • Can provide previous work references and complete recruitment paperwork pack in allotted time
  • Flexibility with locations and a variety of care packages
  • A kind, sensitive and positive nature with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Confident, trustworthy, and reliable

Experience:

  • care giver: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence:

  • Driving licence (Preferred)
