Our client, a well-regarded Domiciliary Care Agency, have an exciting role to join their growing care company as a Team Leader in the St Austell area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in a similar role, who is looking to develop their career and skills. This role is mostly office based but will include when working weekends working in the community.

Package:

  • £10.60ph plus mileage when in the community
  • Office hours mainly, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm but will include working in the community when needed.
  • Bonus for every new starter induction and mentored, could increase salary but £2000 plus a year.
  • Extra payment for on call duties
  • Pool car for work purposes if needed.
  • Excellent training and financial support to achieve Level 5 NVQ and higher

Duties will be varied, but will include:

  • Assisting management with supervision of staff in the area
  • Mentoring team members through ongoing support, coaching and developing their skills so they are working in line company goals and guidelines
  • Visiting clients when needed and carrying spot checks and working with various parties to consistently check care plans are in line with the needs of service users
  • Some general paperwork duties both set in the office and the community, when needed
  • Working with senior management to ensure all CQC standards and procedures are followed to deliver best practice at all times
  • Some on call duties will also be part of the duties above.

Ideal candidate:

  • Must have a valid driving licence and ideally have own transport, however, a pool care is available for work duties if required
  • Looking for a full time role, able to work splits and weekends when needed
  • Previous care experience and confident leading/supervising staff in the sector
  • NVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent
  • Good administration and organisational skills
  • Local knowledge of the area
  • Hardworking and reliable – a team player, but also able to work on own initiative.
