Full Time Contract

Our public sector client is looking to recruit candidates with great administration and customer service competencies to work with a healthcare social Broker capacity, to assist in ensuring residents received the care and support required, ensuring placements for the care they require are secured and implemented in the quickest time possible I'm value for money is maximised. This role will initially be working from home.


· £10.30ph

· Initially a three-month contract, could lead to further work / opportunities.

  • Arranging with the team, packages of care for adults to include care homes, home care, day care and transport arrangements.
  • Using a range of tools and systems available to the team including dashboards, Mosaic, GIS mapping tools and Dynamic Purchasing system to arrange packages and placements.
  • Liaising with all parties to ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • Collating and processing paperwork in line with organisations requirements.
  • Following all regulations in place
  • Assessing whether criteria meet the current available packages and if not sourcing other options, so the resident is getting the service they require in line with care plans and recommendations.


  • Excellent administration and customer service skills and experience gained in previous roles.
  • Experience working with healthcare / social care would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills able to use databases and spreadsheet with ease and also pick up new systems and ways of working – this is essential.
  • Sound negotiation kills, plus able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Confident working in a pressured environment with the ability to work at speed and at high volume, whilst remaining accurate and professional
  • Great customer care skills
  • Able to understand numerical data to be able use calculation tools and other applications.
  • Awareness of the Care Act 2012 and other legislation relating to Adult Social Care such as Safeguarding etc.
  • The service operates over a 7-day working week so you will be working weekends on a rota basis.
  • Happy to have a DBS check carried out due to the nature of the role.
