Full Time Contract

My client is looking for an experienced candidate to undertake the role of Cut-Over Manager.   You will be experienced in leading the transition of enterprise wide technology and processes with Oracle ERP and Cloud transition experience.  The role will be leading the cut-over and early life support for the Oracle Cloud Programme, including the upgrade from Oracle EBS R12, Cloud enhancements and reporting improvements.  You will lead all cut-over and support activities from planning, support definition through cutover execution, hypercare, early life support and handover to business as usual.  

The main focus of this role is planning, coordinating and dealing with issues.  A background in the processes being deployed is helpful, however, the ability to resolve differences and coordinate issue resolution is probably more important.

Responsibilities

  • Agree ramp down/freeze period & ramp up plan. Implement plans and manage any deviations and issues.
  • Produce a plan which lists all cut-over and early go-live activities. Ensure plan is communicated to all stakeholders and feedback reviewed.
  • Be the central point of contact and co-ordination for cut-over weekend and also for escalation of issues in the post go-live period.
  • Perform verification activities of deliverables for all phases of the project.
  • Agree escalation routes and ensure there is buy-in from leads and managers.
  • Agree a ramp up plan with the business and the metrics that will be used to measure this.
  • Collate and finalise the metrics that will be used to chart the success of the go-live and the metrics that will determine when a ‘business as usual’ state has been achieved.
  • Co-ordinate resolution of issues that prevent successful completion of KBP’s or that block/adversely affect KPI’s.
  • Report progress to the Project Manager.
  • Liaison with other teams, external contacts etc.
  • Work collaboratively with the business in developing their cut-over activities and support team to plan early life support.

Requirements

  • Strong experience of managing change and transition activity involving ERP applications
  • Cut-over and Support Management experience
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Oracle ERP
  • Minimum of 3 or 4 transitions of cut-over experience in Oracle E-business suite upgrade or implementation.
  • Demonstrable experience on Oracle Cloud including Core HR, Self Service, OTL, UK Payroll, Talent & Performance Management, Oracle Learning Management and Advance Benefits, core financials etc.
  • Flexible in working.
